The steps of a good man are ordered by the lord and He delights in his way - Psalm 37:23.

I always say that if I were to go out walking along a road and someone suddenly walks up to me and spits on my face or something goes badly wrong; I would ask myself some questions which I believe a child of God should always ask in such situations. Firstly, are my steps ordered of God this morning or not and if not why? I am sure that after a careful spiritual assessment you will be able to determine why you have found yourself in such a situation.

Psalm 37:23 tells us that the steps of a righteous man are ordered of God and He delights in his way. Proverbs 16:9 says a man's heart devises his ways but the Lord directs his path.

You can set out your plans for the day but it is wise to speak to the Lord about it before setting out to accomplish the goals for the day and more importantly being sensitive to hear and understand when God is trying to direct your steps. Testimonies abound and I have experienced the Lord's leading in steering me out of possible mishap and redirecting my path to safety. I pray that the Lord will always guide you on the path of safety.

The Lord can also guide you to make choices in business, investment, marriage, location, friends etc. His guidance will ultimately position you at the right place at the right time. This is a major ingredient for successful living, devoid of misfortunes. Give the Holy Spirit a try in any area of your life and I'm sure a wonderful relationship will begin because God delights in your ways.
